Coating Options
Marine coatings are employed for the parts of the ship above the water line. This is also termed the superstructure or top side. Both containers and ship superstructures receive several coats of paint. First an anti-corrosive primer is applied, followed by one or two intermediate layers and a top coat. Paints for the intermediate layer and top coat are manufactured with our resins.
We have received an approval number for our products (DEGALAN® LP 64/12 / DEGALAN®
PM 381) from the paint manufacturers who operate in this field, which means that these companies have approved our products for all their production sites around the world.
