Their specific properties make methacrylic resins extremely versatile in use.
One example are plastisols based on our spray polymers, which:
- gel at low temperatures
- do not decompose under thermal load
- equire no addition of UV and heat stabilizers
- enable environmentally friendly disposal by incineration without forming any environmentally harmful substances (in comparison to PVC plastisols).
Our DEGACRYL® products are further examples, and are widely used in the dental industry because of their ease of handling, neutral taste and colorfastness.
